is it me, or is everyone giving PAC the fight over Cotto already...bad move

I was thinking the exact same thing. We all saw how much bigger Floyd was to JMM...expect the same out of Cotto v Pacquiao. Maybe not a huge difference like Floyd was to JMM but he will be larger than Pac and has boxing skills as well. Pacs launch to fame from his 2 previous fights may have caused such a smoke screen that analyst are forgetting how relentless and powerful Cotto really is with fighters physically smaller framed than himself.

But on the other hand taking Cotto out of the equation: a fight between Floyd and Pac is intriguing just because the speed Pac possesses. He might be physically smaller than PBF but he has speed that Marquez does not have and he stays busy which Marquez does not do. So a fight between these two guys I believe will be far closer than the PBF v JMM fight.

Right. Neither JMM nor Pac belong at 147. They just don't have the size to be able to compete with the top fighters at welterweight. It seems to be a forgone conclusion that Mayweather/Pac will eventually happen, but I doubt Pacquiao will get past Cotto.

but at least they have the balls to fight the big guys...you can give them props for having the courage to risk getting beat up by a bigger opponent...
