One of the sport's hottest prospects will travel abroad for his next step up in competition. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that unbeaten super middleweight Diego Pacheco and Jack Cullen are set for a bout that will land on a March 11 DAZN show from M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England. The crossroads clash will come in supporting capacity to local hero Callum Smith (29-1, 21KOs), a former WBA super middleweight champ and current WBC light heavyweight mandatory challenger who will headline versus a yet-to-be-named opponent.

At this point Callum Smith shouldn't be fighting "yet-to-be-named" opponents

Jack Cullen is a good fight for pachecho. Because Cullen isn't a world beater but he's a decent pro an its the kinda step ups pachecho needs this year

Sounds like a decent step-up for the kid. He's still pretty young, but seems to show improvement as he's been moved along. Going to the UK to fight a UK fighter isn't exactly the best scenario for him at this stage of his career, but who knows what Hearn is up to with this one.

This is a pretty good fight, I would've preferred Pacheco Coceres but maybe he's not quite ready for that but he's still only 21.

It's just a keep busy fight, Smith is a nailed on mandatory via the WBC and all signs point to him being Beterbiev (or Yarde's) next opponent.

“I can guarantee the WBC board reviewed on Sunday – Callum Smith is the mandatory,” Sulaiman said. “He’s allowed to do a interim fight because Beterbiev is gonna do the WBO mandatory. The winner must fight Callum Smith. Smith is permitted to do a fight. However, if he loses that fight, he will lose his position as mandatory challenger.”

Smith Buatsi doesn't make sense right now; and Buatsi is basically next in line for Bivol's WBA title.

Damn, Yildirim is out here getting pieced up by a gatekeeper, but he deserved a Cinnabon fight. Pacheco show Avril how to put hands on the level of fighters like Cullen.

Fast Eddie is looking for just the proper level of crash dummy for Smith to shine on.
