I am surprised Haymon hasn't got something going with DAZN. They're hurting for content and it's pretty obvious PBC either doesn't have the money or can't get Showtime or anyone else to pony it up for good fights on a regular basis. They would make for good partners on a bunch of these fights that don't belong on PPV.

Question is....would DAZN also put some of these match-ups on PPV too?

I don't think so. I think they are starving for content to air and would be willing to put these on their regular broadcasts to get some subs to come in. If they could grab one of these decent fights every couple months from PBC it could go a long way for their business staying afloat long term.

I don't think so either. DAZN is only throwing on Joshua and Canelos fights on PPV because of thier exorbitant gaurantees.Even PBC's biggest "stars" are only getting
$1mil-$2mil gaurantees and are not making much off of ppv so I'm sure wouldn't might picking up those kinds of tabs for content. Hell,he offered Jermalll $7mil alone to fight Andrade.

No way does this do 200k buys. Under 100k unless the undercard is insane.

People are going to be surprised at how many PPV it sells. Both fighters have attached their names to Alvarez specially Benavidez, people or should I say casuals are definitely going to tune in and see him demolish Plant. That’ll definitely get Benavidez the hype he needed to push for an Alvarez fight and Alvarez is going to have to take the fight no matter what. Let’s hope everyone else starts to get the ball rolling all across the weight divisions, but shoot this is boxing where talking about. Somehow they’ll find a way to screw things up as usual
