That's an argument to have a neutral ref (which he should insist on in any case in all of his fights). It's not an argument not to fight in Manchester.

This hometown thing is hugely overblown. It's up to a fighter's promoter to make sure in the negotiations that the ref and judges are all neutral, and respected, and not hometown ones. If they don't make sure of that, it's their own fault.

In any case, Hatton isn't going to fight anyone for the next six months at least, so this discussion is all moot.

Hatton didn't take a beating against Pacquiao really. If he moves up to 147 he should have alot left

Hatton loves money, if the price is right, he'll fight. He'll also see this as a winnable fight.

Beating JMM would be a decent way to sign off.

          JMM is ready to retire....
He want all the big money fight for his retirement... hahaha!
But Hatton is still shaking his cobwebs from Pacman's punch...
JMM has to wait a while until Hatton has fully recovered from that loss... hahahaha!

              I agree...
Pacman is also cashing out... He's ready to retire too...
He's a demi-god back in his home country and is running for a congressional seat next year...
His mom and wife wants him to retire... so, I guess Pac is going to retire as well...

              Well, at least there's MMA...

Ricky doesn't have any more belts does he lol???

Either way, it would be a good fight for Marquez to test the 140 division. He could come in a lot leaner and not feel so pressured to pack on unnecessary weight in fight with Hatton at 140.

If he looks good winning in the sense his hands look decent, go for Bradley after that. Bradley is almost just like Mayweather strength-wise, plus Bradley will fight it out.
