Is JMM dried out of opponents in the Lightweight?? He could unify the whole division by fighting WBC Champ Valero, I think it would be a good fight! or defending his WBO title against up-coming interim champ Katsidis, would also be a good fight!

But calling Hatton in 140lbs? Leave him alone while he is recuperating from his loss to Pac, but if Hatton would consider fighting again, Hatton would simply devour JMM! If JMM wanted to start at 140lbs, why not challenge first Khan, Urango or Devon? Or Kotelnik, Holt or Malignaggi or Nate? there are so many credible opponents in the JWW to test his pontential before challenging the sleeping erstwhile beast at 140lbs!

Marquez needs to man up and give Valero and/or Katsidis their chance at glory. Stop chasing Hatton for a payday because the man is finished and said so himself.

I absolutely love Juan Manuel Marquez and he has been my favorite fighter for a while, but I will be unbelievably disappointed if somehow this fight gets made. I can't stand that he's calling Hatton out. I hope Hatton calls it quits so I don't have to watch this garbage mismatch. I want Marquez to make all the money he can, but I just hope that because he got a taste of the big bucks that he doesn't start to lose his hunger. I hope he goes back to lightweight or challenges someone like Amir Kahn for the title for legacy purposes. I'd like him to avoid Tim Bradley at all costs....he would eat Marquez alive. I don't know how many more fights Marquez has left in him, but I think one or two more and he should hang em' up. I hope his swan song is a final showdown with Pacquiao.

I agree. I'm a big JMM fan I think he should go after Urango personally. He reminds me of a bigger, stronger, but much slower and wide Juan Diaz. The other champions are Alexander Khan and Bradley. they are all bigger than JMM and faster. I think he should try and win a belt at 140 then cash out for one or two fights, because he's starting to look his age even during the Diaz fight he was breathing out of his mouth the whole fight.

He's got nothing to prove to anybody. He beat two of the best two lightweights at the time, he's 36 its time for him to cash in or try and make history and become the first mexican champ in four weight divisions.
