Too many still don't understand the BUSINESS of boxing.

there is concern that a deal was reached between BLK Prime—whose representatives were not available for comment—and Redkach’s immediate team without DeGuardia’s involvement.
Just like Crawford tried to get Spence to do. You don't do that.

It's not about "just take the money".

You bring your promoter to the table.

If they don't want you doing it, you don't do it.

Then, you sit home and ask yourself why you signed with that promoter.

You signed with them because they flashed a check in your face to lock you up and you didn't read the fine print.

Don't complain now. Read the damn contract. Does it require them to let you fight? No? Then you got okie-doked, take the L and sit on the bench.

Spence doesn't have a promoter. So make it make sense.

Yes he does - himself. But, he goes through Haymon as part of the promotional agreement his promotion has with Haymon.

Broner is retuning from a 2 year layoff, so of course he's taking a soft touch. Who he fights afterwards will determine whether we should take him seriously.

Essentially, Spence has no autonomy. He's just one of many pieces on the PBC chess board, waiting for their turn to be moved by Haymon. He may be one of the "Kings" so he'll be perceived as a "cash cow" and "PPV attraction", but his path isn't really up to him.

Spence (and all PBC fighters) gave Haymon Sports the same rights that other fighters give to their promoters, the right to approve or decline fights. So although technically he does not have an official "promoter" per se, he still signed away his rights to make any decisions on his own.

And I'm not saying that is a positive thing or a negative thing, it just is the reality of the situation.

That's a coward move
A coward move is to assume that I shouldn't have an opinion. If you choose to be personally invested in Broner or otherwise, it's your perogative. AB has proven to be the opposite of a class act in and out of the ring. In my opinion he's been a fraud as of late....who is on borrowed time.

You choose to still respect what he brings to the table in the ring. I do not. What we have expressed are our own opinions.

I'm getting major Triller vibes from BLK Prime who look like amateurs negotiating a fight without contacting or alerting that fighters promoter. Announced the fight, did a press conference, started promoting it without getting sign off from the promoter? A fighter can say whatever they want but they are signed to a promoter. I think his promoter can even sue them because this is tampering and interfering with their fighter who is under contract.

There is a way of expressing opinion. You're method comes across as hating and smacks of disrespect. You can have and share any opinions that's of no concern to me.

Like i said. Spence has no promoter. So no promoter is telling him what to do. Like top rank and Matchroom and golden boy.

Haymon is a manager. He works for Spence.

mangers work for fighters. Fighters don't work for their managers. Except when it comes to Al Haymon.
