Yarde has experience being KO'd by an old washed up Kovalev. Thats it. Yarde did not earn his first mando or this one they were bought and paid for by Frank Warren.

I think Beterbiev might be older than Kovalev, when he faced Yarde, so you never know. Beterbiev is disciplined and keeps himself in top condition year round, so that will help.

To me the best British LHW is Buatsi. I always thought Yarde was below Buatsi & Callum Johnson but slightly above Lyndon Arthur. I don't think Lyndon has much beyond being a huge cruiserweight who somehow boils down to 175. I'm not convinced by Yarde either. I hope he wins, obviously, as the British guy, but I don't think his fundamental skills are remotely at the level of Beterbiev's, although he does bring some power.

I remember reading somewhere that Artur used to be a bodyguard for a Chechen Warlord.

I seriously doubt that - boxing as an elite level ammy leaves no more time for that kind of bullchit than being a world champion level pro... Dudes ain't got time to spend 24/7 watching some dude and besides bodyguarding is a kinda specialist skillset. He has been feted and had gifts lavished on him by Chechen bandit-in-chief Kadyrov though, perhaps that's what you mean?

Yarde is going to get obliterated. Barely a British level fighter he would struggle to beat Joe Smith who Artur demolished.
