Caleb is an outstanding fighter but, if Canelo has the ability to stop Caleb in the 11th, Benavidez will do it much sooner.

you saying that because Plant looked good against Anthony Dirrell? Great KO but you need to discount it because the opponent was a C- level fighter at the time of fight (but B level in his prime) so Plant fought a severely diminished fighter - no different than Bud fighting Kell Brook or the version of Golovkin we all saw in the trilogy.

Vegas oddsmakers saying this also they giving Plant a 40% chance of winning. I'll take Vegas over what you think.... Only way Benavidez wins is by KO because he ain't a better boxer skill wise. He's lazy, and parties too much.

Reminds me of Chavez Jr. Once he can't weight bully and moves up he gonna get some L's. Bivol would make him look silly and Biev would smash him...

Still not convinced that Benevidez is all that but he is willing to face his rivals for a Canelo payday and Charlo isn’t. Charlo won’t face Benevidez and even had a lame excuse for Andrade.

Yeah, Plant has a chance of beating Benavidez - but he'll have to box his ass off. Right now it doesn't matter that Benavidez is a weight bully as long as he can make 168 ok that's where he's fighting and no reason to think he won't perform to the same level we've seen until now.

I'm thinking benavidez can cut the ring off better than Canelo and he has a better tank than Canelo - that's not something that favors Plant at all. Canelo has better defence than Jose. So there is that - and I know that with Bread in his corner Plant is going to have great advice as the fight goes forward.

Vegas saying 40% Plant means 60% Jose - so I'm not so far off but I'd put it a bit less chance. But my point was anyone looking at the Dirrell fight and trying to take anything from it is mistaken.

I was watching more Plants corner with Bread then anything. Plant will have the better corner.

60/40 seems about right but we really don't know much about David except he can KO bums.
