I have much respect for Mikey, especially because he didn't allow himself to be continually robbed by Bob Arum! He took TR to court and won! It did cost him precious time off his career, but he came out victorious! He's real class act, and I think he should consider politics! I could see him as a Mayor, or in Congress! Enjoy retirement Champ!

Hey why don't you critique Fulton like you do navarette? Navarette moves up your dumbass is all like "oh he moves up now that shakurs gone" but meanwhile inoue is moving up and fultons chickenass runs away and not a peep out of you. Wonder why. Well not really I know why

When you are conceding to sandor Martin in a fight it shows a lack of commitment at the highest level. His motivation wasn't there. Good choice to stay retired. Its a shame we never got to see the full potential of mikey but he made his money and never really enjoyed the fight game from what I have seen or heard. Best of luck to him.Comment

Mikey could have had a truly great career had he stayed at 135/140. His own brother and trainer advised him not to fight Spence. There was no way Mikey would ever beat Spence. Ever. It’s not that he didn’t try. He was just too small.
Can you imagine Tank or Haney or Shakur deciding they want to jump weight classes to fight Crawford or Spence? All the mapped out projections, expectations and perceived potential greatness would evaporate like a fart in the wind.

In that case, Shakur, Haney, and Tank should too.
So should Boots and Victor Ortiz. They should jump to 160 as well.
Perhaps Inoue should also skip 122 and go straight to 130.
Maybe Charlo should vacate all his belts at 154 and head to 168.
Or maybe Bivol should just go straight to heavyweight and challenge Fury or Usyk.
