The man that beat the man who just happened to be the worst linear champ in recent history preceded by the most overrated linear champ in recent history preceded by a guy that beat a crude brawler that caught Forrest at his worst. When Baldo was the linear champ it was far far far far from being the ww division that Shane, Tito, Quartey, and joto competed in.

For the mathematically challenged *****s 12/40 is almost A THIRD!!!! of his opponents.
I dont think Floyd has made comments about the Mosley fight other than that "shane is a good fighter, I dont take nothing away from him," and "when its my night, show me my respect" or something to that effect.

Also an illogical comparison using all of Floyd's fights saying he has fought guys with more than 5 losses. Obviously earlier in your career you take on weaker compitition.
A better sample would be the 5 loss fighters he fought after he became a world champion, or the number of 5 loss fighters he fought after being crowned p4p #1.

The haters said Marquez was too old, why you want to see him against someone older?

Only a few notable guys really, Baldomir, who was for the linear title, Gatti, who was a guy FMJ had been calling out for some time and saw as a stepping stone to national exposure (nice call, Floyd) and JLC who Floyd handed his 5th and 6th loss too, who was a much better fighter than his record.
Other than that, Augustus was a better fighter than his record as well and Gregario Vargas had 5 losses but also 40 wins, and had been in the ring with Carlos Hernandez and Kevin Kelley. Not bad competition.

Yeah well 8 of the 13 were before he held a world title and one was Tony Pep, who is solid comp for an up and coming fighter.

Still doesn't explain the idea that a 5 loss Shane is not a worthy opponent. Especially considering Shane has lost to only 3 men.

so many excuses. he's made a career out of fighting nobodies, oldies out of their prime, overweight, and shot fighters. but if that makes you feel better than go ahead live in denial.
