Jaron Boots need to stop playing the waiting game and focus on earning his shot properly by taking on quality fights. Spence would be back after another year after the Thurman fight.

I admire Spence’s ambition to fight the terrific Thurman next. I can see that same ambition for Spence to pursue Danny Garcia @ 154 too. He’s such a champion with a tremendous amount of courage..

The 154 lbs weight division is loading with talent. You have fighters like Sebastian Fundora, Tim Tszyu, Tony Harrison, Jarret Hurd, Liam Smith, Brian Castano, Erickson Lubin, Magomed Kurbanov, Jeison Rosario and not to mention the champion himself Jermell Charlo all at the weight class.

If Crawford and Spence don't fight within this next year, BOTH fighters' legacies take a major hit in my eyes. I couldn't care less about the business aspect of it, he said/she said kinda BS, I'll let the fangirls, wannabe promoters and couch analysts worry about that silliness. The fact of the matter is that both guys are the best in their division, and are in their prime, and there is absolutely zero excuses or reasons for the fight to not happen. Unless of course their legacies aren't important to them, and any talk about them from either fighter is just simply lip service, which to be honest, seems to be more true by the day. But, I hope I'm wrong, because I am a fan of both guys, but more importantly a big fan of the sport, and getting the big fights is not only great for the fans in the short term, but great for the sport going forward.

I agree and you are absolutely right but unfortunately the fight will never happen now since Bud has signed with BLK Prime. Besides, there is just not enough money to satisfy Crawford's needs.

Al Haymon doesn't have no where near the type of money that he is demanding. Which was the main reason why the fight didn't happen when it should have happened.

He wants at least a $25M guarantee to fight Spence and there is no way that either guy is getting that type of money from the PBC.

I doubt Errol Spence would give up those belts without any kind of hint in advanced. He won't give up those titles at 147 without thinking about it for a year or so. It's a long wait for Ennis and others.

Well, for the exception of the WBC; The WBA has granted him another 60 days and the IBF has granted him another 120 after his fight with Keith Thurman to decide whether or not he still wants to defend his belts against their mandatory challengers. If he doesn't then he will be stripped of those titles.

I don't see the Crawford fight happening. Seems pretty clear at this point that Spence wants to see how long he can coast. And if he's not fighting Crawford, for sure he doesn't fight Ennis, or Ortiz Jr for that matter.

Spence has NEVER coasted, that's Crawford's history. Every fight Spence has had either got him a belt or was a top contender except when he had to fight his way to the top of the division, something Bud didn't have to do.

He already beat Danny, something that Crawford didn't do, and he's willing to fight 30-1 Thurman, but not for the belts, because Keef didn't earn it, and he will only take his body through that weight cut with Bud for undisputed.
