Anthony Joshua’s new trainer is Derrick James, according to Spencer Oliver. The announcement will be made by Joshua (24-0, 22 KOs), and it could be next week. James trains Errol Spence Jr, Frank Martin, and Jermell Charlo, among others. Joshua will be fighting on April 1st against possibly Demsey McKean at the O2 Arena in London. That’s a confidence buster for Joshua to regain his mojo before facing Dillian Whyte in a rematch in July.

Whether Joshua can improve his game enough under James’ watch to become a three-time heavyweight champion is the big question...

A week or so ago, I was looking at various upcoming cards and saw his name buried far on the bottom of a fight card against TBA. I don't see anything scheduled for him now however.

I'm not sure what Salita is doing with him but weekly posts on NSB begging for big fights isn't quite doing it.
Pretty sure he also had King Kong pull out of a fight too, no?

There were discussions between Ortiz's team and Wallin's and when Wallin agreed to fight him, Ortiz's camp went ghost. The big Swede has tried to get the big fights without much success. Needs to ascend the rankings and force them that way. Otherwise we will be subjected to a few hundred more of these articles quoting Salita.

"Salita explains that Deontay Wilder, after suffering back to back defeats to Fury, came back against a top rated opponent like Robert Helenius."

              Why should they face him?

Has he got a belt? Is his ranking super high?

If a Top Fighter beats Wallin, are they now then in line for a title fight? The answer is probably no.

So these Top fighters don't have to face him.

Wallin is a solid enough fighter, but since Tyson Fury he does not really have any impressive performances. Wallin has some good solid wins, but he has done nothing which warrants this demands that fighters must face him.

It is a narrative that was created and perpetuated by hardcore Tyson Fury fans.

Tyson Fury picked Wallin, when he was domestic level fighter. And Wallin pushed Fury, and busted him up real good.

So for me, this narrative was created around Wallin. To make it look as if all these other Heavyweight are petrified of him 'And that Tyson Fury was the only fighter who can stand up to him'.

And in Anthony Joshua's situation, there is better match making out there that can be made for him.

Your last 4 paragraphs are just pure fiction - nobody is making up shit about Wallin , no narrative was created. They don't need to be - the facts are right there.

now you are talking about degrees of avoidance???? the guy is avoided - far as I'm aware he's never mentioned by anyone. When Fury fought him it was before the 2nd and third Wilder fights and as such Fury wasn't at that time regarded as the best HW in the world.

Wallin's loss has 'aged' well subsequently. I get that top fighters don't have to fight him but its one of those deals that if Wallin was say matched with Hgrovic then the winner gains a lot of momentum. This is what has happened with Joyce recently after he beat Parker - now there's hardly any doubters.

Fighters sniffing around Joshua like Hyaenas might fancy their chances with a wounded lion - just like Golovkin.

Are fighters avoiding Demsey Mckean? Nobody mentions his name or calls him out? People must be avoiding him.

Nobody is avoiding Wallin, Top fighters just don't have it all to gain against him. That is a fact.

Like I stated in my first post. Is Wallin's ranking super high? If a Top Fighters beats him, are they then on the verge of a world title fight?

The answer is most likely no. Wallin also has no impressive performances, the man has some solid wins 'But he is blasting nobody out'.

If Wallin was this super top fighter, he really should of been beating up and stopping Dominic Breazeale. Who has already been beaten up by Joshua, and blasted out by Wilder.

This narrative has been created and perpetuated by Tyson Fury's hardcore fans, because quite simply Fury was beaten up and busted up real good by Wallin 'Fury was beaten up by a domestic level fighter at that time'.

These are the tactics, sociopolitical tactics Fury's hardcore fans use 'To make Fury's performances look better than they are'.

The entire division is petrified of Ottin Wallin, and our fighter Tyson Fury was the only man who could stand up to him 'That is the narrative'.

I personally think Wallin is a crap fight and event for Joshua. There is better match making out there that can be made. And yes I am well aware that fighters are being opportunistic in challenging Joshua.
