That's the line I think Fury is on. In fights, it's only against the rules if the referee calls it. And you usually get a warning.

Was Jeff Horn dirty against Pacquiao? I would argue he pushed the boundaries and the referee never called him on it, so it was ok.

I'd obviously make exceptions for removal of padding and plaster of Paris wraps etc. Doesn't matter whether you get away with that kind of stuff. You're scum for doing it. Rot in hell, Panama.
Even though we know that shlt is not allowed.
I expect massive under dogs to pull dirty tactics. They have no shot at winning any other way.

For top tier guys to be KNOWINGLY dirty, they should be banned for a year after the 2nd warning.
A dirty fighter is worse than someone who takes roids.

Horn had nothing to lose and no skill.
He's not even a good dirty fighter !!!

    Pros know the rules
If they get away with it, they are still dirty MFers.

Probably. If you're not fighting a little dirty/trying to circumvent the rules you're not doing it right. That's not just for boxing, but for any sport, and life too.

If Anthony Joshua had a rough house game, Usyk would of found it even more difficult to beat him.

The main rough house tactics Fury seems to use are, wrestling on the inside. And that is it.

I don't even think Fury's rough house game is that developed. But it is developed compared to most Heavyweights active in this era.

Although from mid-long range, Joshua vs Usyk II was a higher level fight than Wilder vs Fury III.

Once Usyk & Joshua were on the inside, they did nothing. Joshua was so accommodating for Usyk on the inside.

When that was were Joshua needed to make things chaotic. A good rough house game is not about gaining points.

It is all about creating a hostile environment. When you combined a rough house game, with actual boxing 'Professional fighters are more effective'.

Dirty as in he cheats and was caught with PED's and fouls multiple times and has been docked points. Boxing has rules.

If his name was Hopkins they would just say he's an old school veteran of the game and crafty.
