What do you mean, nobody is giving him stick? I said, he keep fighting nobodies and he'll become a nobody.

Golden boy didn't steal it. Vergil earned it. Stanionis could have relenquish the fake title.

I have a feeling this guy is gonna fall short of elite.

I don't doubt he wants top 15 fights. The question is, how many more, non top 15 guys, before he actually gets around to it.

Only by a couple of opponents. And Ennis is only a little further on by faded names like, Dulorme and Lipinets.

Same. Still got plenty of time in his career, but after almost 30 fights and no notable names thru all that, it's a sign that there is still alot of work to do for him. Hope to see him get up there at some point.

If he's managed by the same guy Ennis is, then you can be sure he'll be well protected from being fed with guys that could derail the train. Eye tests is not enough in boxing. Losing once in this sport is horrible, I know, but growth is impeded when you only fight guys you know you can beat.

Definitely GBP stole it. Boots' team and Stanionis' team were setting up the fight for place while Spence and Bud fought for undisputed. After Crawford left negotiations, Golden Boy petitioned for the Stanionis fight. Boots' promoter, D&D, didn't stand a chance against one of the biggest promotional companies in boxing. GBP stole the fight.
