Canelo-Ryder at 168 is a DISGRACE.

    Doesn't matter what you think.

He is ranked in the Top 5 of the division at Super Middleweight. #3 to be exact.

        Not ESPN rankings.

The Ring Magazine rankings. You know, the ones that we've used to rank boxers for over 100 years now?

Yes, I know that one. The one that lost credibility after golden boy bought it. If you pay attention to rankings, you are a newbie. Rankings can be bought. You know my rankings? The ginger, benavidez, plant, Morell jr, Scull, bazinyan, Iglesias, mbilli. I know I'm missing a couple of them, by ryder is not in the top 5.

Except it didn’t, despite that often cited fallacy claim. The Ring have always been the go-to rankings and have been for 100+ years. That’s before and after Golden Boy brought it.

I’ve been using those rankings for over 50 years I’m not going to stop now and neither does anyone else who’s done the same.

Ryder is ranked #3, that’s an objective fact of the matter. I don’t care what your personal rankings are.

I agreed with you, you should not care about personal rankings, just like I don't care about the rankings, after finding out how corrupted and manipulatives the alphabet soups organizations are. If it suit you, good for you. The ginger is fighting a killer. Be safe, by the way, after delahoya bought the Rings, he joined the wbc, ibf, wbo a d wba.

Good match all things considered, it's not like he's fighting a Rod Salka here.

btw, I still recall some clowns like OP claiming Canelo's W against champ Callum Smith didn't count, because ¨Ryder beat Smith but got robbed¨

well, here's Canelo's chance to erase any doubts about that
I can see that, but we past that already. They're a couple of guys that would be more interesting than ryder. We know what's going to happen here. With benavidez or even Morrell Jr, not that much.

8 months is not a super long lay off its normal. He can test his hand sparring, you don't need a fight for that. Come up with some new excuses. Ryder may be technically highly ranked but he is a journeyman who has literally 0% chance of beating Canelo.

                    - - Canelo coming off surgery ain't even started regular training yet much less signed to fight anyone and NS candies already melting over him.

And after that he'll be fighting a top 5 p4p guy for the second time. Meanwhile most other guys are fighting stiffs every time out.. I'm not sure why you dudes have a hair on your ass about Canelo, he easily has the best resume in the sport right now.
