Canelo-Bivol at 168 is a DISGRACE.

Canelo has a history of this, his opponents have to fight to win every around to have any hope of winning a decision against him. Lara and GGG gave up some rounds against Canelo and they lost because of that.

If Bivol took a round or two off to make the fight closer, the fight would have been a draw or even a win for Canelo. And you know Bivol wouldn't be getting a rematch at any weight if that happened.
the fight was 10-2. At the MOST you can give Canelo is 3 rounds. Giving him 4 is criminal. Giving him 5 was a fixed event.

Glanced through his record and not even once he came under 173. He has been handling guys his size and bigger, squeezing himself to 168 without taking an interim fight at that weight against one of the best of the sport looks like a recipe for disaster.

Canelo challenged him at his weight and lost with no concessions. There is no reason to go down but looks like the monetary incentives is far too great to ignore.

Bivol has been claiming he can make 168 for years, he claimed years ago that he had no problems moving down for a Canelo match

Doesn't make sense from any angle.

          It's lose lose for Canelo.

I agree! I see no reason for Bivol to fight him at 168 other than to accommodate Canelo.

Hoping if the fight does happen at 168, that ginger gets beat even worsethan he did at 175. It is a b!tch move by Alvarez though. But if Bivol agrees, its on him. We know he wo t be eatimg weird beef

I think you are misinterpreting what he is saying. He is basically saying that he is lucky (huge money) that Canelo is willing to do a rematch considering Canelo got dominated. You could replace lucky with fortunate, but either way, I never expected Canelo to fight him again. I believe he will be dominated at 168 also, unless Bivol is just sick from draining.

He’s too fkn small as a Junior middle weight. Corse casuals will never understand that statement. Non fighters don’t get it either.

It make no sense. By that logic Ali didn’t deserve a rematch with Liston.

Bivol earned every penny by clearly beating Canelo despite being a 4/1 underdog. Canelo now has a loss he should want to try and avenge. Bivol isn’t lucky, he earned it in the ring.

Fanboy excuses. Clowns like you were saying he’d beat Beterbiev prior to the Bivol loss.

Canelo couldn’t make 154 if he chopped his arm off, he’s a natural Super Middleweight. He’s more than capable at competing at 175 too.
