Deontay Wilder was in two punishing fights where he was knocked out, he needed a soft touch comeback opponent. The same doesn't apply to Joshua.

You got it backwards my man. Plenty of interviews show the body language of who was afraid of who. AJ has been mostly hesitant or almost questioning himself when asked when he would face Wilder. Wilder on the other hand nearly cried when he was joked that AJ wouldn't face him unless he hit 50-0 on a radio show that also records video to watch on Youtube if you choose. Body language during subtle moments show a lot.

Mystery opponent is Ngannou. Wilder will make 4x what he'd make fighting Ngannou than he would fighting Ruiz. If UFC lets Ngannou box, Wilder will definitely take the "Mystery Guy" because its more money, more exposure and a walk in the park hightlight reel KO for him.

Joshua frustrates the hell out of me. He’s such a coward. I have no problem with him not fighting Fury or Wilder. I wouldn’t fight them either. However, when he consistently talks the talk about fighting them, and then repeatedly turns down every single lucratively opportunity he gets to fight them, he needs to be called out.
