  • Comments Thread For: Roiman Villa: If Rashidi Ellis Has Doubts - We Can Do This Again!

Power-punching welterweight Roiman Villa, boxing's newest breakout star after his thrilling come-from-behind victory over formerly unbeaten "Speedy" Rashidi Ellis, says if the "disrespectful" Ellis would like another fight, he can get a rematch any time.

Never look past the man in front of you. Especially when he's knocked out almost everybody he's fought no matter how non-descript they are. Villa looked like Margarito in there the way he was putting on that pressure. Might not be the fastest or most skilled, but he's definitely tough and can give anybody problems if he can put that pressure on and the take the shots of the upper-echelon guys. Most of the top guys at 140 are bigger punchers than Ellis so curious to see how he handles bigger hitters.

That's telling him Roiman Villa! Now let's see 1. if Rashidi Ellis want's to run it back, and 2. if the original promoter want's to promote a rematch?

Uh robbed in front of thousands, and now he's going to give you a chance to fight for your stolen wallet. I would definitely put the beats on extended play to get my wallet back.

Ellis needs the rematch, Villa not so much. Ellis better jump on that offer.

That's a fact Jack! This is the second win against an undefeated fighter that Villa has been able to pull off in succession.
Besides Rashidi Ellis 24-0 (15 KO's), he also beat the undefeated Janelson Figueroa Bocachica 17-0 (11 KO's).
I don't know if Roiman Villa 26-1 (24 KO's), will ever win a world championship title, but he's one fighter whom bear's watching.

Agreed. And to correct I meant 147. If he can keep his momentum up, he can definitely be in the mix for some entertaining fights with some of the top guys whether he wins or loses.

Nothing like a robbery. You could have had Ellis up by a round or could have had a draw but that 3 point swing in the last round changed the fight. Ellis had a comfortable lead and then he didn't.

Speedy needs to take the immediate rematch and clean his name. This Venezuelan is talking mad ca-ca and thinks he's the next Ricardo Mayorga.

I agree 100%, when Villa fight's he bring's excitement to his fight's, and the almighty equalizer (the knockout punch), or in this case the knockdown punch.
