Are we being too harsh on Boots?

Truth be told most were hoping he's the next generational natural talent that comes along like another Roy Jones Jr or a Mayweather but while last nights performance was pretty underwhelming are we judging him too harshly?

For me based on that I find he throws his right hand off balance way too much, was getting clipped by Karens overhand left and hooks way too easy, he wasn't cutting off the ring well, doesnt seem to have a 2nd gear i kept expecting him to step it up but it never came, stamina wasn't outstanding and he seemed to run out of ideas with his offence

But it's one fight against a guy who was a spoiler and maybe Boots just starting believing his own hype and didn't put the work in camp? Maybe it was just an off night and a bad style match up for him and he could be like a Tyson Fury type fighter who really turns it on in big fights

I don't think it's fair to judge him so much on one fight but that definitely wasn't proof hes the next big thing or that he can beat Spence/Crawford

Hard to look impressive against a guy entirely on his bike the entire night trying to just make it all 12. Boots should’ve had an answer for that by cutting the ring but he still win 10-11 rounds in a “lackluster” performance.

Isn’t a young boxer winning a tougher than expected fight a good thing?

Posters need to recalibrate their thinking. If a guy wins too easy he sucks and the opponents are weak. If a guy wins tough, he sucks and cant handle top comp.

Can’t we get back to appreciating a guy finding a way ti win a pro fight?

Nah Boots looked pretty rough man everybody is blaming the other guy sure he was running and being a pain in the arse but boots showed he cannot adapt or cut off the ring to save his life just showing the same 1 2 predictable punches over and over again. He isn't ready for Crawford or Spence that's for damn sure.

No. He needs this criticism to make him step up. Enough of the bum tour already.

Yes! Karen came in to play spoiler! He didn't try to win. He wanted to expose, embarrass and show up Ennis and he succeeded.

Just said on the podcast before the fight . Yes.

                  That or Mike Jones.

                  Chukhadzhian fought a brilliant fight.

What people are upset about is that Boots got exposed.

Good fighter, flawed. He's got work to do.

Karen was on his bike all night and had no intention to win. Boots still won pretty much every round, I don't see what all the fuss is about.
