Probably not. If the father is still in the picture, he'll carry on having a negative influence. Even if Sr wasn't such a douche, Teo needs a whole new set-up, not just to add an assistant trainer. AJ did that with Garcia and he still lost, and afterwards both sides seemed unhappy with how it had worked out. Teo did look better with Gamache in his corner, but he should have him as main trainer if they work together again.
