I hate watching Lara fight but that said, Lara is a true defensive master. Andrade is mediocre at best. We will never know how good he could have been cause he never fought nobody. He’s too old now to beat any significant name.

I’m starting to agree with this view. If it’s true that Andrade was offered a fight with Benavidez before Plant accepted it - and turned it down because he wanted “a tune-up” first - then it’s hard to keep sympathizing with this guy when he whines about no one wanting to fight him.

He should have taken the Benavidez fight - even if he’d had lost, he could have used the excuse that he was rusty and probably needed a tune up first.

You know - someone can line up all those videos that favor Andrade as to why has hasn't been able to get big fights but the proof is this. Anyone looking at a list of opponents that Jermell Charlo has fought and compare that to a list of Andrade's opponents and that dramatically illustrates that one fighter fought top contenders and unified titles - and one fighter did nothing and is clearly a Prima Donna. Two diametrically opposite careers.
