If Spence vacates the WBC, which I hope he does, I hope to see Thurman fight # 4Ugas or #6 Crowley! Blair Cobbs is not even ranked in the Top 15 by the WBC!

I get what you are saying but I'd prefer Cobb vs. Thurman for no belt. Hell I'm sure the WBC would make them 1 and rank Cobb for the right amount of $ Winner fights the winner of Ellis vs. Crowley for a Vacant WBC.

I don't think he gets through the second level such as Ortiz, Ennis, or Thurman even, let alone the top.

Therein lies the problem. Don't co-sign bad behavior! In no shape, form, nor fashion, should Keith Thurman vs. Mario Barrios, been made a WBC Eliminator! That's a tune-up fight for Thurman. That should have NEVER made him WBC #1. Had he beat Boot, Vergil, or Ugas, or even Shawn Porter b4 Crawford, then that would've been fine! Barrios? WBC is disgreaceful!

Oscar De La Hoya, the founder of Golden Boy, recently responded to a query regarding Ellis’ protracted layoff. De La Hoya said he tried at one point to offer Ellis a deal to fight Vergil Ortiz, the hard hitting Texan regarded as one of the crown ***els on the Golden Boy roster, but claimed that Ellis turned it down.

“We recently offered him a Vergil fight,” De La Hoya said on The DAZN Boxing Show. “If fighters are going to be turning down fights, there’s nothing I can do.”

Looking to see if Ellis ever denied this, haven't found anything yet. No Bueno! You can't afford to turn down opportunities like that!
You said all of that, but never said what he was offered for the fight which is the most important thing.

Why do you have a GIF of a convicted woman beater on your page?

A vastly underrated talent who has the tools to severely test, if not beat, everyone at the top of the division.

I'm unsure what to think of Ellis, but it looks like they are lining him up for a Boots fight, which makes all the sense in the world. That would be an excellent test for both fighters and answer lots of questions.

Is it really? I think the exposure, and the reward that would've came from the victory would have been priceless! Maybe he was not confident that he could get the victory? I watched his trainer talking about it on YouTube, and he would not say he got lowballed, nor did he say what they offered. No Bueno!
