Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia On Hypothetical Showdown Against Prograis: "He's Too Slow, I'd Catch Him, Night Night"

Over the years, Ryan Garcia has used both his ability on the microphone and most importantly, in the ring, to gain an unprecedented amount of fans and notoriety. But while the 24-year-old has worked his way to a world title opportunity quite some time ago, he's opted to go in another direction.

The only reason you say “ belts are watered down” is because you can’t beat the current champions in your division. Just STFU! and fight clown.

Regis shows Ryan what happens when you fight big dogs.

          Regis wins. Probably by stoppage.

Ryan just better stfu before he gets slapped. Lol Regis is NOT Gervontgay Gayvis.

Well, the fight with Tank will 'MOST LIKELY' be called on account of the weather, or some other mundane lame excuse....so be like Bud, and have a 'back-plan' when talk on this fight just turns out to be so much 'smoke and mirrors' and rescheduled for 6 months or a year down the line.

Bet cha a 'dime to a doughnut' ole Rougarou will accommodate Kingry when the plug is pulled on the Tank fight.

If a Hall Of Fame of word champions existed, Ryan Garcia would be immediately inducted.

In his rants he knocks out just everyone, exactly as an air guitarist telling around he's better than Edward Van Halen.

One thing we can say about Ryan, he has more talk than anything for sure! No dam substance, yet!

I've always hated the, "I'd beat him" argument but never face him and we're supposed to just believe it. Unfortunately that is what boxing has mostly become these days. Fighters talking more than fighting. No more having to move up the ranks for the massive payday but just talk their way into one.

I personally would love to see a fighter who we "assume" is awesome, fight more often to prove that.

Regis is obviously a very good fighter, has good pop and is relentless but HE IS there to be hit. Chon landed some big shots throughout thier fight so there's no reason to believe Ryan can't or wouldn't. Ryan's a big kid, probably the bigger of the two and not to mention the advantage of filling out a little more at 140 will only benefit him even more. The kid has the potential/attributes to beat anyone at 140 and that includes Regis.

Is Stanionis a probellum or PBC fighter? It was a purse bid though so eally not relevant but that leaves the question of is Oscar open to negotiate with Schaeffer willingly to even make the fight possible? A Ryan vs Ramirez seems more plausible as that would do incredibly well here in socal.
