Any possibility of Crawford vs Ennis happening this year?

Crawford is available. Ennis will soon be after his fight with Karen this weekend. Boots said he would take it in a hearbeat but won't file a petition to signal WBO that he is ready for it. Bud just announced he is fighting 3 times this year. Spence wants to come back in May, so there is that window to make something happen.

Accepting as it is with camp Ennis' remarkable passivity, what needs to happen first before this fight reaches first stage? Can someone ring WBO to order the fight? Ortiz ranks #1 in the WBO listing, but he dismissed it twice and now fighting Stanionis for the WBA title shot qualifier. Meaning Ennis who is #2 will automatically be elevated to #1 spot.

I highly doubt it. Ennis is going the IBF route.

Your best hope is to see it get ordered by the WBO and a purse bid takes place since Crawford is not affiliated to any promoter or network.

Unlikely, booty is claiming to go after Spencer and Crawford got the stanoinis-ortiz winner

            No.

Crawford has clearly chosen the road of least resistance. He'll fight randoms on whatever that streaming service is called and make his money without Top Rank cutting into his profits.

Ennis doesn't want that either to be fair. That's why he and his camp sent the formal letter to the IBF to get a chance at Spence knowing Spence had already got the paperwork sent from the WBC for Thurman.

Crawford vs anyone we want to see him against won’t happen in 2023. He’ll probably price himself out vs any good fighter. He’ll lower his asking price only vs someone he thinks he can beat.

It's a high risk, low reward fight for Terrence ¨I dont care about legacy¨ Crawfraud, so it's never gonna happen

WBO needs to order this fight so it can be done preferably in March. There's plenty of time for other fights.

I'd be genuinely surprised if Crawford fought Boots. The guy thinks he's boxing royalty and only wants big money. Not big money fights, big money.
