Comments Thread For: Prograis Doesn't Think Highly Of Ryan Garcia: "Ryan Would Be A Cakewalk, Don't Got That Dog"

More than anything, Ryan Garcia was hopeful that he would eventually nab a world title at 135 pounds. Although he was on the cusp of fighting for a golden trinket, the flamboyant 23-year-old came to the realization that squeezing down his frame to the lightweight limit was essentially impossible.

      Ryan KO’s this chump..

Josh Taylor doesn’t posses anywhere near the power Ryan does & Prograis was trigger shy.

I like Prograis but I can't agree with his way of thinking.Assuming anything in this sport in particular is never a good thing to do.

Ryan's overall persona and appearance is truly his greatest asset if he is able to capitalize on it in the ring.

So many boxers will assume that he has not enough power, not enough skill, and no dog because of his look. So if he brings those things to the ring (has to be properly trained and committed) then you have the classic case of underestimating someone and not seeing what you are actually going against.

Maybe he's just trying to talk his way into a big fight.

I agree with him for the most part. I highly doubt Garcia faces tank and I seriously doubt Garcia gets anywhere near Regis. More so his handlers will dodge the fight. They don’t have much confidence in Ryan obviously or he’d be getting the biggest fights

Garcia is a bit mental, so you just never know...

Zero credibility to someone (you) who posted that Bivol/Ramirez was a close fight. I realize that you personally are responsible for the cleanliness of Oscar’s scrotum but your bias is straight up pathetic.

Regis knows that even if Ryan loses to Tank, a Garcia-Prograis fight will bring in more money and interest than anyone else that he has at 140. No disrespect to Teo, but he's not on PPV as of now, and after Garcia fights Gervonta, even with a loss, he's a PPV fighter from then on. So, Regis is talking shxt to land the best fight available, and even if Ryan doesn't want it, he's put it out there that he feels like he would put hands on Garcia. Regis would probably KO Ryan, mainly because of Garcia's defensive flaws, and also because Ryan would be extremely aggressive after taking the ass whooping from Tank, leaving himself open to get stretched.
