I'm gonna do a delve into the rule books of the various governing and sanctioning bodies and try to get some clarity on corner resignations / stoppages in between rounds cos my first assumption was that it'd be KO Mid, but since we're using Boxrec as the standard reference and they got it as 9 I guess it is what it is.

I thought it used to be that a fighter failing to answer the bell would be called as having lost in the round prior to the break but this is the second fight recently where a corner stoppage has been called for the subsequent round so maybe I got it wrong or the rules have changed.

Good to have you back man, but for future reference I'd avoid picking the specific round number - especially if it doesn't fall within the range of your original pick.

KO LATE was the correct prediction since 'late' in a 12 rounder is 9 - 12 for our purposes, but the parenthesised Rd 7 you included would have been a KO Mid.

I know man.. I thought it was a KO Mid at first too, but when I went to check the official results it's down as a KO9.

The official time of the stoppage was 13 seconds into Round 9 with Davis ahead 78-73, 78-73 and 78-74 on the judges' scorecards.
