He wasn’t in ad good of shape from what I saw. Regardless Joyce beat him fair & square…
I think Parker's tactics were to **** with Joyce, really test Joyce's durability 'And try and stop him in his tracks'.

Parker pretty much landed his biggest punches routinely. Only problem was? Joyce was not stopped in his tracks.

Joyce won the fight, but? I think people have underrated the damage Joyce sustained in the fight.

Parker was 250 + pounds, and the man can turn his punches over with half decent speed and power 'Parker was wacking Joyce'.

There is a possibility that Joyce may get burnt out before his title fight.

If Parker would of trained to use different tactics, there is a high likely-hood that he would of went 12 rounds 'But I don't think he would of offensively landed as many big punchers'. So people would of been criticizing his effort, and lack of aggression 'This has been a regular criticism of Parker'.

After Parker vs Joyce, nobody can really deny Parker's effort or his aggression. Parker lost the fight, but I think it is one of his best all round performances.

I don't think other Heavyweights want to fight Joe Joyce. Joyce is similar to Wilder, in that whatever way you fight these guys 'It is going to be extremely difficulty beat them, fighters will suffer from heavy trauma'.

I have to agree with you. If he was lighter & more elusive would he have try to stand in there & land those bombs? You make a very valid point that I overlooked. Regardless everyone said Parker would duck him. He didn’t & they had a helluva fight. I’m glad to see parker accept defeat the way it should be. No excuses. He said he gave it all but Joyce was simply the better man. I like that Parker is taking a tuneup fight on an undercard in a few weeks. He should have no problems with this tuneup opponent then he said he wants to make another run & hopefully get a rematch with one of the fighters he lost to. I don’t think Parker gets enough respect. With all that money he made early in his career (Believe around 15-20 million) I thought he would be done by now but at 30 he is still a threat to any of the top HWs. Hard to believe he is only 30. He has a lot of experience.

Why does Parker get on your nerves.
Hes out their being busy staying active wanting to fight.
What's he done to get on your nerves?

Embarrassing fight. One Smack Jack should be fighting other domestic cruiserweights on Sky.

Parker would do well to remember Junior Fa vs Lucas Browne cos if one smack jack can crack its back of the line for the mighty Oilskin!

Agreed I can't see him getting another World title shot, so he may as well try & earn a purse fighting for the Commonwealth championship. Personally I'd like to see him rematch Dillian Whyte with the vacant belt on the line.

That would probably turn out to be an evenly matched contest because they both fight at a slow ponderous pace, something that I just don't care to watch.
He's lost to Joshua, Whyte, and Joyce officially, but he also lost to Ruiz unofficially, he only got the decision win because he was fighting in his backyard.
Some commented on my earlier post stating whether or not I liked it Parker was a former champion, and many other accomplishment's, fair enough.
Just to be clear I'm not talking about the younger version of Parker, I'm talking about the current older version that is going to be cannon fodder for those coming up in the rank's.
It's just a matter of a difference of opinion, a difference that is sure to be cleared up in the very near future. Thank's for confirming my post Mick Higgs, I appreciate it.

Not sure what it is man, I actually think he's a really nice guy - lotta positivity - but it started to feel like he's content to kinda cruise in his fights. Maybe it's cos I had really high hopes for him coming up and I'm a little frustrated he didn't seem to push harder for the finish in some of his fights. Like he's bit too much of a nice guy if that makes sense? Perhaps I phrased it badly though - mainly I just mean I wish he showed a bit more urgency sometimes.

That said I did appreciate the heart he showed against Joyce - went some way towards winning me back over after the lacklustre Chisora and Fa performances

Yer can understand the frustration at times.
it seems he's got another gear but is just willing to cruise through and leave it upto the judges.
Now that hes got a new trainer im sure hes going to leave it all in the ring.
                    win or lose.
He was getting stale with his new Zealand trainer whoever tgat be.
Yer you answered my question and can relate but after his fight with Joyce I think he's giving it his last shot to get up their with the top guys.
                    I like his attitude now.
