It was a flop.
Flops are relative. 1 million ppv buys could be a flop. Depends on the guarantees that were promised to the fighters.
Mayweather and Berto’s guarantees made 550k a flop. Showtime lost money on that fight.
If Mayweather vs Pacquiao “only” sold 1 million buys, that would have been a box office disaster.
No different than a film costing $300 million to make but “only” sold $200 million in sales. Sure $200 million is a lot of tickets sold, but it’s a flop if it doesn’t even cover what it costs to make it.Comment

You think for one second AB has a single brain cell of intelligence to “invest right?” I’d venture to say he has the reading comprehension level of an 8th grader.
if he plays his cards right he could make 10mil next year which after taxes and invested right would set him up for life plus this exhibition stuff could work for him if he gets in great shape, the guy is well able to talk and if he actually listens to floyd and follows his advice he could make millions more, boxing is a funny sport sometimesComment

He's not wrong, people would definitely pay money to tune in but what's the point in that exhibition?
Broner isn't retired. He's an actual boxer. Why would they fight an 'exhibition' boxing match? Broner could get in on the money too by being on the undercard fighting one Paul brother why Floyd fights the other.

I doubt Broner has invested cash into anything that compounds his money. Maybe he has though, I could be wrong. it's very common these days. That's why people got 100's of thousands in covid. Everyone got in on it.Comment
