And my comment about nobody knowing that Wilder would beat AJ is not hearsay, it is a fact. How can anybody possibly know the outcome of a boxing match that hasn't happened?
It's pretty easy , watch their previous contests ...

AJ is not only coming off 2 back to back defeats, he is also without a trainer and looking for a new one. Personally, I think he should have ditched Angel Fernandez and committed himself to giving Robert Garcia full control of coaching him. He showed definite improvements in the 2nd Usyk fight compared to the first and I believe that was down to Garcia's influence.

But that's just my opinion. Fact is he doesn't have a trainer right now and seems to think he's going to need 2 fights to settle in with whoever he has in mind for the job before stepping up to either Wilder or Fury. If Fury fights Usyk next they will have a rematch clause. So win or lose vs Usyk, I don't think Fury will be available to fight AJ next summer. That leaves Wilder. So the schedule Eddie Hearn has in mind for AJ would be to fight some top 15 fighter early next year, then Whyte, then Wilder.

If they are serious about targetting a Wilder fight by late summer 2023 I have no issues with that plan. Even if AJ and Wilder both lost before fighting each other, AJ vs Wilder would still be a block buster fight that fans would want to see.

What do you think about Wilder vs Ruiz? Would you like to see it? I would.

LoL, now you want Wilder to get some of that medicine he gave AJ. LoLoL! (It will be a great fight!)

We gonna learn you hearniacs .... eventually.

        LoLoL!
If Hearn saw Andy Ruiz as a cherry pick that could only be because he honestly believed what he was saying back then about AJ being the best fighter in the division and a future ATG. Eddie over-rated AJ, as did millions of UK casual fans, but not me. My opinion on AJ was that he was good, exceptionally good for the experience he had, but not as good some people - like Eddie Hearn - thought he was.

I posted several comments here saying that AJ can definitely beat Ruiz, but if he goes looking for a quick KO to equal Wilder's blow out of Breazeale, that could be a big mistake.

If you watch their previous contests objectively you would have to say that either guy can KO the other if he lands a hard shot clean. Everybody has their own opinion on who would land that big punch first, but nobody knows for sure.

He was a proven 39 year old shot fighter with slow reflexes and zero punch resistance. The only thing he had left was reach and a big right hand, which was all he needed to beat a walking punching bag who was even slower than him, in Kownacki.

I agree with you on Garcia , he made a marked difference to Joshua .With Usyk's in and out and none stop movement and Joshua's some what upright stance that was always going to be a problem to try and be the boxer. Joshua was spoilt by Ruiz coming in so obese and out of shape in fight 2 and then in the aftermath Hearn ******ly saying Joshua was like Ali in there. Fact was Ruiz could hardly pull his weight around as was plain to see.Joshua needs momentum in my opinion and should look at the positives , a fight with Franklin should be within his limits after his last performance and one I suspect he'd win really well. A fight with Whyte in the summer at Wembley is , in my opinion cheating the fans .Whyte looked shot last time out against a pretty up for it but ordinary Franklin and obviously previous to that was easily put away by Fury , two fights previous sparked by old Povetkin.
So Franklin then Joyce or Wilder would set up what it once WAS , a mouth watering mega fight with Fury , should Fury keep his side rolling ....or , hey Joshua v Usyk 3 !

Agreed , of course, I've always thought that Joshua is Taylor made for Wilder and Ive pictured him hitting the deck but then as he has in the past getting up a little wobbly and landing on Wilder ! These my friend are the fights we are missing with Hearn at the helm as I'm sure Joshua gets talked out of more fights than we know...I remember recently Joshua seeing Ruiz over at fight in America and telling Hearn he'd love another one with him and Hearn saying ..WHY he's such and such you don't want that...and that was Hearn who can't control the mouth !

AJ has to KO Wilder in first 4 rounds. If it goes much longer Wilder will most likely KO him. Wilder has the hardest punch of any boxer in history and he is fast with good stamina
AJ didn't get KOed or blanked out in his last fight. At one point he was getting to Usyk who is better adjusting in a fight. He should keep himself at that high level of fighting. Maybe a KO of an inferior fighter might get him more confident. He needs meaningful fights not one to fill his pockets. This is a popular fight in the UK that has the odds very much in his favor.

You are one dense individual! Of course, no one knows for sure because we all are all just stating our personal opinions. Opinions are often stated as fact because of strong feeling and knowing that we can cut our fellow commenters some slack, right?
