I'm extremely critical of both fighters, but I'll be heavily favoring Teofimo in this one.

If think Haney has beard problems at 135 which is why he's career has been carefully paced, that's coming with him to 140. He's not going to be able to keep guys of him with just a jab and hold gameplan at 140. The bigger guys can wrangle him and land in the clinch.

Yes, Teo's been dropped, but they're all flash and some balance kd's. He's never really hurt and in grave danger. Teo has shown us he can get up off the canvas and fight strong.

Can Haney do the same? We've only seen him rocked and maybe when he's rocked enough to hit canvas; and he will, can he get up to win a fight?

When Linares zapped him, he went into run-n-huggies mode for 2-3 rounds straight. He simply could not recover. If Teo drops him, I think he can stop him.

    Great gif.

I think Haney's draining the hell out of himself at 135. I think we'll say a way better version of him up at 140.

I'd pick him to handily whoop Lopez up there

Fighters that shrink down, shrink down for a reason. Usually because they don't have the beard for their natural weight.

Are you suggesting that Haney shouldn't have clinched to regain his senses in a fight that he had won every round in? He definitely got clipped by Linares, but he still won the fight easier than Loma did. Besides, didn't Loma taste the canvas when he fought Linares? -_-

Bruh, Haney was 17 when he began his career and is now still only 24. He's clearly outgrown 135, but last I checked, he has never missed weight. Quit it!!

One guy was fresh. The other was fatigue
You could argue one guy got caught cold, and the other got hurt.

But what should concern Haney fans is his recovery time. Everyone gets hurt. He took 3 rounds to recover.

Moron, I'm saying he held on for 3 rounds runnin an huggin. Never seen that in 40+ years watching. Once he's hurt he has a problem recovering and that wasn't a deathblow, they were probing shots. the chin has a glass jaw.

So what if he was 17? He's been pro for 7 years which by historical data is nearly half of a career. Time to be a big boy and move up.

Only was Huggies win is if he decides to take a deep breath, but then everyone at the scene is going to have no oxygen and we won't even know what happened.

If you can't even count then you shouldn't be trying to make any logical arguments coz clearly you lack logic.

How was Haney take three rounds to recover when there were only two rounds left after he got hurt?

And for your information, Haney landed 7 out of 28 punches in round 11 and Linares landed 9 out of 30.

In round 12 Haney landed 8 out of 28 and Linares landed 11 out of 31.

Looks like Haney did much better when he was hurt than your biased ass thought.

2 rounds whatever, I usually say 2-3 rounds. My brain is so full of boxing, sometimes small molecules get compromised. Doesn't matter, 2 rounds - championship rounds no less.

                    Compubox is fake. You new?

Loma tasted the canevas but recovered quicker.

Also, stating that he beat Linares easier is not so true since Loma stopped Linares.

Haney is a great round points grabber with his jab and grab game but at 140 he will not have a juge lenght advantage and most fighter there punch harder than him.

Taylor and co are not midgets like Jojo, Linares or Loma who are 126 pounders.

As for now, Haney main advantage has been his size and youth. Dude is long as hell for a 135 pounder and doesn't tire.
DEspite those advantages he has not been beating up his opposition. He should blow up those small dudes. Floyd was beating up dudes and had power at 130.

I'm not impress by this dude but he should get better since he is in his early 20s
