Plant's in his his prime though. Knocking out an old Dirrell just doesn't do it for me. Old Golovkin should have won the KO of the year for knocking off the younger Murata if anything.

Crawford has made his recent career off of lesser level W's and most say he's p4p king.

It was poor year in terms of KOs. Wilder and Plant are the only candidates who make sense. Right guy won. It was perfect KO.

Bivol won fighter of the year if I’m not mistaken.

Either that or upset of the year.

              Disagree.

Tank KO of Rolly wasn't a "sleep" KO, but far more impressive of a shot against an opponent that wasn't washed.

Ah true, Bivol robbed Inoue here. At least, Plant got his due.

From the looks of things, Wood Conlan gets fight of the year.

Bivol gets fighter of the year for beating a Mexican midget. Now plant gets KO of the year for beating a black grandfather. Whats next?

Here to post the same thing. Old roasted and toasted eldery fighter getting smashed gets ko of the year.
