also lol at Arum calling David Haney lovely, that dude is a loudmouth clown. Hopefully hankey doesn't get cold feet even though I think he takes it
Haney will wash the Ukrainian midget. This is Loma's last hurrah. He might need a push off the stage.

Keep dreaming. This will be a fairly easy fight for Devin. The heavy lifting will come when Shakur comes knocking.

This is going to be a tough fight for Loma, but legacy defining for whoever wins. I don't think the holding is going to be that big of a deal though. Loma has the best anti clinch game in the sport. If Haney tries to hold, he's going to end up holding Loma up by his biceps, or eating sharp shots all over his head. Loma is extremely active in the clinch, and he's very used to it, because that's the default response of all of his opponents when they start to realize what he's doing to them.

I'm more concerned about whether he'll be able to get past Haney's superb jab, and if he's going to start slow. Haney is very good at banking early rounds, and Loma is a historically slow starter. I think he's just going to have to go from it from the first couple rounds. Haney certainly doesn't seem to have the power to keep Loma honest.

Either way, I think we'll have a pretty good idea about who will win the fight within the first 5 rounds.

What jab? Haney has no jab against southpaws. Look up his fight against Jojo Diaz. If he can steal rounds from Haney then Loma schools him, despite his though fight against Ortiz. Keep in mind Ortiz is a fast and explosive combination puncher and an inside fighter and Haney is a jab and hug fighter. Nothing in common between the two.

2023 is shaping up to be a great year for boxing. Now all we need is for Spence-Crawford to get signed

Interesting match up. I always feel a guy with a solid jab and good right hand beats Loma any day. However, Haney seldom uses his right hand and the power there is also wanted. Loma overmoves in the ring and ends up too worried about his positioning. Teo was cruising to an easy victory until he ran out of gas. This is a close fight because of Haney's reluctance to use his right hand.

the longer it goes, the more Haney plays into Lomachenko's hands
