I'm sure it's a little of both. Breadman tries to be a mentor to his fighters. Imagine having a mediocre trainer who is also a mediocre dad. You end up mentally in a bad place and without a plan B if "plan" A doesn't work.

Honestly, I didn't see anything from Lopez against Martin that'd convince me he'd beat Prograis. He was walking into the same check right hook the whole fight, and even got dropped by it twice (the ref robbed Martin off the 2nd one tho). Prograis is a crafty southpaw like Martin, except he has one-punch knockout power. If those check hooks came from Prograis, Teo woulda been starched.

Teddy Atlas could be a random guy from this forum for all I care, it wouldn't make his opinion any more or less valid to me or anyone who cares about discussing Teo's latest performances.

False, his Loma win was not impressive to begin with. If you want to count landed punches for Teo, you can only find them in the 12th, all the others rounds he barely touched Loma.

Teofimo has indeed regressed and is food at 140 ibs. He is mentally weak, let his win against loma get to his head, tried to play the A-side game, went life and death against a limited kambosos and the recent bum, and ended up looking like a complete fool with egg on his face. His career is falling apart.

Prograis is a good figher, but Teo is a dangerous fighter. All that fancy stuff that Prograis brings to the table will play in Teo's hand.
