Comments Thread For: Robert Garcia Says Anthony Joshua Needs A 'Stricter Camp'

It appears that Anthony Joshua is on the hunt once again for a new trainer. After losing to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021, Joshua split from longtime coach Rob McCracken and had training sessions with the likes of Eddy Reynoso, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Ronnie Shields, and Virgil Hunter, among others, before settling with Robert Garcia.

The 'distractions' are called greed , his fingers in too many business deals, no doubt due to Hearn and is now beginning to realise you can't have it all!....I don't think Joshua will get any better and as it stands he's behind Fury , Wilder and obviously Usyk.....It's all a bit boring really .

Go to be honest - if any one works hard and dedicates himself - it is AJ. No doubt he improved a lot for that 2nd fight but Usyk is just better. Before that fight everyone said Usyk was going to KO AJ in the 2nd fight.

As for Garcia - he was telling AJ he won every round in the corner. If he really wanted more from Joshua - maybe tell him he was losing? Garcia just seems salty that AJ is dumping him.

Ray Mercer and others from that era, would do very well today, despite fighters today being heavier and taller. Something is missing from today's heavyweights. Size isn't everything

Joshua should take the positives from the second Usyk fight and keep in the frame or rest and regroup, he's been out for nearly five months and with no solid plans as of yet. Things could look bad for him should Fury do away with Usyk with relative ease.He needs a decent name and Dillian Whyte is not that ,KO'd by Fury, not wining one round and looking beaten by a fringe contender. ......Sugarhill may have been his ideal!

We are missing top US heavyweights. When you got a lot of Heavyweights from just England in the top 10 you should worry. England is a small country, with smaller people than the US in general. The US should have a ton of top-HWs but they must be going elsewhere. Probably into other sports

If he can get Aj to stick to the strict "no boyfriends In camp" rule- he may have a shot at getting the best out of whatever the overrated bodybuilder has left In the tank.

Limiting his Spas days might bring out the dog in him and whatever nastiness he's capable of. Enough to make an ornery a$$hole out of even one of the biggest divas in boxing.

No Lindt Chocolates or Ferrero Roche during his "Real Housewives" binging should help with his stamina/endurance in those all important championship rounds.

Do these things and you'll have a pretty in pink killer to command in the ring. Trust me
