I'd like that - in fact I'd prefer it. I think Tim needs a little more seasoning before he's ready for Mell anyway and if he can get past Tony I think it makes a future meeting with Mell significantly more intriguing.

Like Tim but I just ain't sure he's as ready for the top level as he could be.. A bout with Harrison would be the perfect step up.

Agree 100%. Harrison has pop and he brings some challenges for Tszyu that would be good preparation for Charlo.

tszyu - harrison isn't attractive. tszyu, murtazaliev and fundora are jermell's mandatories. make fundora - tszyu for the wbc title (upgrade from interim) and make jermell champion in recess. that way fundora and tszyu both have their title shot (which they are craving). make jermell - murtazaliev as a come back fight. then the winners can fight later in 2023 in another number 1 and 2 fight. since we already know that jermell is established number 1 at 154, i think this scenario is more interesting. there would still be an undisputed champion and 3 fighters (current mandatories) would have their first title fights. win win for everybody .

yes of course Harrison is trying to get this fight. he is 1-1-1 in his last three fights and his prospects aren't getting better soon with a KO loss to the current champ still fresh. Very smart to talk his way into a big fight while he still can
