Maybe its just me, but you never know what ***el you might find in some of these fights that are not overshadowed by big names from the male side. For instance, I will tune in to watch the women that I follow go for undisputed, but I will also look for the progression of Hitchin's game and if he's added anything to his arsenal since the last time I saw him fight. If he has made a big jump, then he will be one of the fighters I follow and big up on here BEFORE he becomes what everyone will see later.

Obviously the hardcore fans will watch but I just think they could garner a larger audience by being active inclusive with how they schedule their cards.

Good luck to Serrano getting a fair shake in Ireland, she already got duped in New York. I definitely wouldn't do it, unless I just knew that I could get the knock out or the offer was so good that I would be a fool to turn it down.

I think these all women’s cards are ******, you’re just limiting your own audience as fans like myself who don’t follow women’s boxing are just going to tune out, however if you pair a women’s fight with a men’s fight then I’d be much more likely to watch.

I think I've heard the opposite argument made though. Some simply don't want to watch women's boxing, and would prefer that they have their own cards so it'll be easier to avoid them altogether. Have you ever found yourself using a women's match-up as a piss break?

Personally, I think it's important to see test how much value top fighters like Serrano and Baumgardner have, in order to see just how healthy women's boxing truly is.

*throws up hands* well that's just the way things will be. Women want bigger purses? Let's see how much money/interest they can generate when it's their responsibility to carry the card. If women don't want to be treated like a sideshow act, then this HAS to happen. Serrano/Taylor garnered interest and was one of the most significant match-ups this year. Now let's see if Serrano can replicate some of that success without Katie. If this does well, then maybe Serrano/Baumgardner will happen in the arena instead of the theater.

Male boxing fans are the only sport fans that defacate on the female component of boxing....they're not even willing to give it a shot as it's own show.


MMA male fans love the female MMA fighters & even a genre like pro wrestling, the male Pro wrestling fans LOVE the female pro wrestlers.
