Persoon turned down the fight, not out of fear but because she has a two-fight deal to fight in Dubai....it's with the group working with Badou Jack.

So the WBA went down their ranking.

For example, I watched Taylor-Serrano because it was on after Smith-Vargas, without that fight I wouldn’t have had a reason to watch it.
While I think you make a good point as far as marketing, piggybacking women's fights with men's fights; if the ONLY reason you watched Serrano - Taylor is because of Smith - vargas, you aren't a fan of boxing. Serrano - Taylor had all the hallmarks of a great fight, and it delivered!

Feb 4th is close. I'm not too positive it's gonna be Bauza at this point.

Your point makes no sense. You don’t know that beforehand, how could you know it was going to be a good fight without hindsight?

I’d never even seen Serrano fight before. I did enjoy the fight though but without Liam Smith being on the undercard I likely wouldn’t have watched. I wasn’t impressed with Serrano though, very amateurish, no technique, just athletic with power, Taylor on the other hand is very well schooled and that was the difference between the two.

I knew it would be a good fight beforehand because I've watched them both fight previously. Your assessment of Serrano is clearly skewed as she is clearly the more skillful of the two, but skill doesn't always win the fight.

              Behave…

Taylor is a far, far superior boxer compared to Serrano. Serrano is completely flawed technically, she’s awful.
