RJJ wasn't even fun to watch for me

His style of fighting is so arrogant and boring. One punch counter punching and pot shotting. Low activity. Scared of getting hit. Didn't really pump the jab. Everytime people say he was exciting in his prime were watching flashy KO's of taxi cab drivers.

Everytime I watch one of his fights I take pleasure seeing him get beaten down.

He is easily the most arrogant fighter and egotistical I've ever seen. Everytime he gets hit his ego gets hurt and he starts smiling and showboating. His defense is also horrible and consisted of just using a high guard and covering up and not throwing anything back.

He's one of the only fighters that you can say was scared of getting hit. After he got knocked out he pulled all his punches and never commited to anything.

That's what hardcore fans like: flashy fighters. It's why Boots is the current 'eye test'.

The truth is, combo punching has been on a steep decline since the demise of regular PED usage.

This is why I like David Benevidez a lot.

He keeps that jab pumping on you and he throws a ton of punches and can whip out 3-4 punch combinations.

Fighters like Canelo bore me. Zero work rate, one punch counter punching with no jab. I hate fighters like that.

      Donaire was the same way.

Benavidez' output will drop as he faces better opposition and it will become less effective.

I've seen some piss poor troll posts before, but this really takes the cake.

The fact that you're agreeing with stinky troll droppings really locks in what we already know about you.

            - - Only time Roy beaten down was past prime.

Should get a kick out of watching Leon whoop Ali pillar to post. Then Lar picking the wings off him and Trevor making Ali look like a first grader.

Danny Williams, slayor of Tyson has bukoos videos getting beat up.

There has not been a better combination punching fighter since Roy Jones Junior.

David Benevidez is nowhere near the level of ability, when it comes to single punches, counter punches, and combination punching of Roy Jones
              Junior.

Roy Jones Junior was slickness, athleticism, speed and creativity. Those type of attributes are going to make a fighter behave a different way inside the ring compared to fighters who don't have a high level of athleticism, or a great defense and creativity.

Benevidez is not super athletic, and his fighting style is not very sophisticated. Some people will get this more, and like it.

The "muh Benavidez" crowd are mostly just anti-Canelo edgelords. If he gets chinned by Plant it will be "muh Andrade" again.

So you basically only watch washed up Roy jones fights.

Because this take is the total opposite of what prime Roy Jones was.

1 punch counter punching? lmaooooo. He was the combo king

He was worshipped in the 90s. I never thought he was as great as he was said to be. He had speed and all but he definitely didn't hang around at 160 or 168 very long. He shot upto 175 quickly where the competition was not great.
