when are they going to write about floyd doing between 1 and 1.6 million ppv buys. Floyd did better numbers with oscar than pac, floyd does better numbers with hatton than pac, now floyd does more with marquez than both of pac and marquez's fights combined after a 2 year retirement and dominates an opponent that pac lost to a least once. I give pac the first one, but marquez definately won the 2nd. So what do the floyd haters go to say now?

i dont see how they can be disappointed. for the minimal risk mayweather took, this fight got major hype and attention paid to it, I dont know what more they could have possibly expected from fans, i think they got the absolute max ppl they could have possibly got to watch this mockery of the sport

Bringing in over 13,000 peeps to an arena that holds around 16,000 isn't all that bad.

Considering that the Floyd haters expected it to do much worse, it did quite well.

The PPV figures should be more telling.

                    What are you talking about?
Shatter records? Who said that? Only a bafoon would think that...the potential fight with the capability to shatter those records or Mayweather vs Pacman.

The fight did very well for what it was. A mayweather come out of retirement, tuneup fight.

No doubt. Mark Taffett of HBO was doing an interview and said that this fight would shatter all previous PPV records in any sport.

I actually thought it would be around the 450-500K mark, but **** if it did a million+ more power to the sport.
