Make no mistake, I am still interested to see this fight materializing. Certainly Stanionis will be giving his all, this I'm sure of. For as long as it lasts it should be a good fight, then if Eimantas wins I'll be the first to admit that I was wrong.

why would oscar and eric petition for this and their prize stallion if they didn't know something we don't know vs. telling fighthub they aren't fighting crawford, given he is every complex? skill recognizes skill just like styles make fights.

stanley/spence (even haymon will block the mandatory yet again) combo is very winnable for ortiz vs crawford in his current from of 7-0-7kos

I suppose that is true. Archie Sharp seems content to keep fighting nobodies to retain his WBO ranking, and I'm not sure he moves the needle much in America anyway. Jalolov is possible. We'll see how many Probellum fighters are on the card. Rocky Hernandez is with Probellum, and likely to be the mandatory for whoever wins out of Vargas-Foster for the WBC title at 130. Maybe they can put him in with someone.

I can't argue against 50/50, it's a heck of a match up but I believe this is going to be Ortiz coming out party. Stanionis style lends itself for Ortiz to have a late round stoppage.

I don't know why fans act like Butaev is some great win.
He's stepped up vs undefeated contenders twice and lost both times, granted one failed a test. The only even semi notable win on his record is Jamal James.

Its nothing but pretend because he has an Eastern European name.

McKinson, Kavaliauskas(sp), Hooker are far, far more proven and better wins.

Shiiiiidd, Spence would give Virgil the beating of his life. Errol is a MUCH better boxer, punishes the body, thus his nickname of the Bodysnatcher, is much more athletic, his punch output and selection is ridiculous, and controls the ring and distance in every fight. There's a huge difference in Spence's ring IQ, and there's also a reason that he beat 3 champions for 3 straps, while Crawford has held his only one hostage fighting the likes of Avanesyen for money rather than legacy. Ortiz might want to learn to box more than just that pressure style if he wants that type of work, otherwise he will get embarrassed fighting Spence or Crawford.

And I disagree entirely on it being 50/50. I don't think its even a tough fight for Ortiz he will smash Stanionis.

All of the guys you just named are mid-tier fighters that lost everytime they fought anyone decent. Hooker is really a 140 lb fighter that hasn't looked good in a while, Mckinson has zero power and has like 2 KOS, and Kavaliauskas is good for a few rounds, gasses, and is barely average after. Let's not act is if Ortiz is fighting anyone on a high level either.

aint that weird that spence talks too much about fights not concerning him but awfully quiet during pacquiao training and crawford negotiations, like he knows they aint happening? Lol

It's not a 50/50 fight, more like 70-30 in favor of Vergil. Ortiz isn't going to steamroll Stan as he's one tough sob but he isn't going to be able to take the body shots he was taking against Butaev for long and will get broken down around rd8 or so. That poster agreed to not dissappear, and will be on here eating crow after the fight.
