He is...but age gets everyone (not named Floyd) eventually.

Hopefully, Haney vacates the division once he defeats Loma because unless Tank Davis is available then there will be no one left to fight at 135 except Shakur Stevenson.

It’s already gotten to Loma, he looked visibly old against Ortiz. Haney by UD.

I’d like to see him fight Shakur next. It’s a much more compelling fight than him against this version of Loma.

What's wrong with Haney vs. Stevenson?

The problem with Loma is he fights one way, if that’s not working, he hasn’t got any major adjustments. That’s why he couldn’t deal with a long jab and pivot v Lopez for 6 rounds, he just kept trying the same things. He only had success when Lopez started getting less disciplined with the game plan until he got back on it near the end.

Usyk is similar, I thought he arguably lost to Briedis. It was clearly a close fight that could go either way but he just kept doing the same thing round after round and let it get to a razor thin decision.

they are masters at Plan A, but doesn’t seem to have a great deal of options after that. It’s just most can’t deal with their plan A.

                  A welterweight versus a featherweight.

This fight better get made. Munguia vs GGG better get made as well. Usyk vs Fury, Wilder better fight Joshua or Joyce, and Bivol vs Betterbiev. I don’t give one single crap if Crawford fights Spence at this point. Boxing needs retribution in 2023!!!!
