I would LOVE to see Shakur beat the hell out of Davis.

However he's not getting what he wants, and he has ALL the belts!

What about William Zepeda? Why would GBP keep him away?

He wanted Loma b4 Loma fought Teofimo Lopez! It was Loma that went "in the other direction," not Devin Haney!

Shakur is another one with a style that's high risk very low reward. I think it's got to be impossible to look good fighting him, and he's got to be maybe the most frustrating guy to fight in all of boxing. He's probably going to go down as one of the best defensive fighters of all time, but he's not popular with the casuals.

TBH, I could see him being less interesting even for lovers of the sweet science because his style depends so much on his reflexes and absolutely elite distance management. It's not the sort of thing that can be duplicated with lots of training. Either you have the reflexes or you don't, and the eye for distance can only be developed so far. And he doesn't really have the finishing instincts, nor does his style lend itself to knockouts, because the shots that knock people out are the ones they don't see coming, and he's very good at hitting and not being hit from the pocket. So his opponents probably see the shots coming but can't really hit back.

I would love to see him spend a little time with Bomac and Terrence Crawford.

Zepeda is not sitting around for that fight! Schofield won't be fighting him for at least a year! Kid Austin is 20 years old w/ 12 fights! Zepeda is 26 years old w/ 27 fights, and 23 KOs! He's ready now!
