Apart from Floyd vs Manny - which other fights required little or no promotion?

I remember the hour the fight was announced. The forum went insane and I was out with friends celebrating in a bar chit was crazy.
I recall there was little to no promo material and no really one press conference apart from when they officially announced it.
The world had been waiting years for that fight so I guess it sold itself. Where there any other big fights (apart from the obvious) where the same occurred?
Also i know Mayweather and Mcgregor did a press conference tour. But even if that didn't happen i still think it would still be the 2nd most sold ppv regardless. I think Pac May was at 4.6m sold. Mcgegor May at 4.2 and Canelo May at 2.2. I think even without the extra press conferences Mayweather Mcgregor would have done 3m+Comment

I believe the revenue generated was similar. Fury vs Whyte had over 70,000 more people in attendance and both fights were very one-sided. So, if that does not add up, what is a super fight? Because to me, both fights went exactly as I expected. Mayweather won 118-110 on my card, and many other cards and the fight was boring, because Pac ******. Fury dominated Whyte then knocked him out. No surprises either way. Nash outComment

Maybe it generated a lot less, but ultimately, Mayweather vs Pac had a very low attendance and only made so much because of overselling to rich dude's with more money than sense. If it could have filled 94,000 seats, it would have, but it couldn't. Maybe 30,000 at a push. Nash outComment

I was exaggerating for effect, but the attendance viewpoint has legit merit. Selling small numbers to business men with big pockets who want to say they were there, is not the appeal of selling 94,000 tickets, mostly to normal fans. I'd be embarrassed by that attendance if I was TBE or Pacman. Nash outComment
