  • Apart from Floyd vs Manny - which other fights required little or no promotion?

I remember the hour the fight was announced. The forum went insane and I was out with friends celebrating in a bar chit was crazy.

I recall there was little to no promo material and no really one press conference apart from when they officially announced it.

The world had been waiting years for that fight so I guess it sold itself. Where there any other big fights (apart from the obvious) where the same occurred?

Actual fight was an unmemorable dud though.

Floyd's per round clinching was out numbering landed punches 25-1

Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte. Fury is so big that it didn't need Whyte for press conferences or interviews, we didn't even need to know that Whyte was still alive. It was all aboard the Tyson Fury show. Nash out

          the first one is correct

the other two were big fights within boxing. Not exactly mainstream crossover appeal.

I think there was two or three press conferences for the McGregor fight and fair bit of back and forth

            Nothing like that with Manny

19 out of your last 20 posts are negative comments about Floyd. He OWNS you!

Floyd EASILY beat your hero Pac and you ain’t over it yet. Stay salty.

I believe the OP is referring to super fights and Fury/Whyte is far from that.
