He needs to get shot of his lecherous, living through him vicariously father and get Joey Gamache back, honestly don't know why he ever got rid of him...

The mental energy his father must sap out of him and his apparently toxic ex has(d) will have a significant impact on him i'm sure, the mind after all is the key everything.

Though I won't go as far as to say he has mental issue as some people do, just wasting energy on that kinda shít rather than on the fight ahead of him is a dangerous game.

What he needs is to leave Dad, get a new trainer and take control of his career...

Pretty difficult to "deal" with other people's emotions and mental instability when you clearly aren't mentally stable yourself.

More often than not, you're better off cutting that negativity out of your life than trying to navigate it. Been there, done that. He should focus on his priorities, whatever he feels those are and seek professional mental help. It's clear to all hes cracking. Damn shame,it doesn't look like that support/encouragement will be coming from the one person who spends day in and day out with him either, and thats his own damn dad. Hopefully his mom's voice carries some weight in that family and can be the one to get him much needed help.

He needs to find some kind of peace and stability in his personal life, that's step #1. If that means putting some distance between himself and his girl and/or between himself and his dad then so be it.

The other thing that's concerning is that he looked good against Lomachenko with Gamache on the training team, but then he let Gamache go after that fight and hasn't looked good since. Might be time to consider rehiring him or getting some other professional boxing person on the team.

Which brings me to his financial health. The way he was talking before the Sandor Martin fight there might be problems in this area too. He should put himself on a budget and prioritize what he spends on, cutting back on the things that don't support his career. Hiring a trustworthy professional to help would be a good idea here too.

Yup, this is a big part of it. I think they just didn't want to pay him.

Dump the old man and get a new trainer. Or get a new job; I hear Twitter is hiring.

He should sell his cringy dad to cartels. He will automatically be better fighter.

Haney, at 24, giving advice? That smacks of being a slap, not advice, condescending slap in the guise of compassion.
