The road to a world title will not change for Emmanuel "Manny" Rodriguez. As the boxer himself had been anticipating, his new world title opportunity will not arrive until after the first three months of next year, once the undisputed bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue of Japan will vacate his four 118-pound titles.

Agreed. That win is going to look really good on inoue's resume at some point.

Agreed, people wrote him off after the Inoue fight, but I thought he beat Gaballo & should’ve got the Donaire fight over Gaballo.

Moloney, Butler, beat Gaballo IMO, and Russell.

Rodriguez gets a bad rap bc the first time most people saw him was the Inoue fight, but he has shown to be a very good boxer in all of his other fights. He just got beat by a generational talent. The Gaballo fight was a robbery IMO, and stalled Rodriguez' career for a bit. Should be good for a title shot after dominating Russell.

What a great win Rodriguez had against Russel, he's going to become champion again it's just a matter of time.

Astrolabio is on a roll. Me thinks Rodriguezs chance is slim.
