Aj is the new Khan. After every loss he thinks that a change in trainer is needed as opposed to recognizing that he just wasn’t as good as he thought he was and having a real will to win when in the ring facing adversity isn’t something a trainer can give you.

"What can I not bring? I'm one of the greatest to ever do it, I did whatever I wanted to do. So I can show you how to do whatever I want you to because I did whatever I wanted to when I got ready and who was gonna stop me? Nobody."

I think Rob Mac was aware Usyk was much better and saved him from being KO'd as he nearly was. Garcia moved him up a notch and he fought well to stay in there , I don't see what Roy does? A great fighter but as a trainer nobody really knows and it's obvious Joshua needs a pretty quick fix.Comment

“So what you need to do here Anthony, is jump forward and throw the quick three left hooks, then slip round the side before they try to counter”Comment

The problem is Joshua, not who coaches him.
His confidence was fragile from the start and McCraken did a fantastic job of keeping him focused while Eddie Hearn picked sweet cherries from the money tree.
Now Joshua is an ego fighter - very dangerous in a guy who boxing skill and instincts are not the very best.Comment

Roy sees dollar signs, that’s about it. A trainer is only as good and adaptable as his pupil. Roy need a fluid and athletic student for anything to stick. Joshua is none of those. AJ needs someone who can challenge his mental right now. It won’t be a bad idea for him to give Teddy Atlas a look even if just for one fight. Unsure though if he can handle Teddy’s approach. AJ seem unable to take criticism and wants to be in charge in his own rightful way. I can’t see Roy’s imprint in any shape or formComment

You don't need to train Aj today for Usyk or Fury in the future.
After undesputed who here doesn't believe the belts will split? I've read there's a rematch clause so the ibf & wbo might split for a start. If Usyk wins he might retire at 36, Fury could defend all the belts, as a retired heavyweight he's setting up his 3rd fight in 10 month's which is more active than any of today's active heavyweights. That would take Aj 2 year's.
You train Aj for a tune up then possibly in house Hrgovic for the ibf by the end of the summer, with a rematchroom clause of course. There won't be time for no Wilder Usyk or Fury fight.Comment

Joshua is the issue... not wanting to push himself and wanting days off. Hes not a student of the game, in his mind he fully believed he did everything he could in the gym to be able to beat usyk in rematch... yet when the opportunity came in the 9th he didnt have it in the tank to go all out... cuz he hadnt prepared past his own comfort zone, hence why garcia recommended he go train in u.s with his other champions to understand about levels and gears in training. I personally dont think joshua studies heavyweight greats of past eras.Comment
