Jared Anderson has great potential and tools. He is a bit undersized for the modern HW divsion, but he gave Tyson Fury great sparring. He can be a HW champion after he gains more expeerience fighting big, world-class boxers. They are a very tough bunch, compared to who he has been fighting. He needs to get more control of his emotions and demeanor, and keep his composure during the fight. Few HW's can take flush punches as he did in the Forrest fight and remain clear and strong enough to win. He did in that fight, but there are some fights where that would get him in trouble. I'm not sure he has ever had to weather serious trouble in a fight. No one knows how that will go until you're in that predicament (even the fighter). Nothing wrong with backing off and staying safe during a fight.

He is definitely a young force to be reckoned with at HW.

I'd like to see him fight Fabio Wardley. Both of them freak out when they get tagged and bring it on stronger. But Wardley's skills are no where near Anderson. Martin, Franklin, Trevor Bryan would make sense also. Franklin is suddenly relevant at the moment in the UK, Martin is a name, and Bryan just because. Start eliminating the US guys to become the top dog. Big baby Miller needs to happen, but Im not sure Anderson is ready yet.

Top Rank matchmakers notice he gets hit flush when he stitches to southpaw. He ain't ready to be moved like Shakur.

Kabayel, Knowaki, Ajagba, Pulev, even Chisora or Hughie Fury. the list goes on just get him over!

Yes, Jared turn pro at 19 - two weeks before his 20th birthday - and Rid**** turned pro at approx. 21 1/2 years of age. I hope the same as well.

What makes you say what's in bold?

              Jared : 6'4" - 78 1/2" reach

              Usyk : 6'3" - 78" reach
              Ruiz : 6'2" - 74" reach
              Whyte : 6'4" - 78" reach
              Ortiz : 6'4" - 78" reach
              Dubois : 6'5" - 78" reach
              Parker : 6'4" - 76" reach
              Sanchez : 6'4" - 78" reach
              Wallin " 6'5 1/2" - 78" reach

To me, Jared size fits right in and if he continues to improve his catch-and-shoot style and adding in some wrinkles in improving his head movement his size won't be a factor (even against guys like Wilder, Joyce, Joshua, Fury).

Hughie's a bit of an awkward one, he's not fought in ages and keeps pulling out of fights. If his next fight were against an Ajagba, Hughie or Kabayel on the Fury-Usyk card, that'd be great.

I agree.. and he moves very well at 240 lbs. and hits like a truck. Heavyweights don't need to be Fury-sized. A shorter guy with a high volume of body punches could easily have an advantage over the big guys.

Jared Anderson doesn't need training wheels like some heavyweights that started boxing late. It's just a matter of getting guys ranked ahead of him to sack up and fight him. It's probably not going to be easy. If I were his promoter I'd keep him as busy as possible. After his most recent fight for example , he could fight again within a week. Keep him busy and building up demand to pressure guys above him.
