Why not? He tko'd Joyce in the amateurs, reportedly, although that was a long long time ago.

Parker also wasn't the same Parker when he fought Joyce as compared to when he fought Joshua. Having said that, mightily impressive win for Joe over Joseph.

Joyce certainly would give any heavyweight a competitive fight, that's for sure.

Joshua head needs to be examined after that mental breakdown in the ring. Last thing he needs is Juggernaut Joyce walking through Joshua laughably overrated power and breaking his eye sockets

Punch drunk Atlas mouthing off again about everything he knows nothing about. Why do boxing rags even publish uninformed cynical guesswork from these nobodies? Even Sleepy Joe could give a more accurate and coherent boxing prediction than Atlas.

Nobodies? Lol! Atlas has forgotten more boxing knowledge than you’ll ever possess in two lifetimes

No he wasn't but I'm not sure it was a better version. Parker was impressive early in his career up until the Takam fight. After that, I can't think of a truly impressive outting. Joe didn't look all that good in the AJ fight, both seemed content to go the distance (assisted by the ref).

It's a shame Andy Lee didn't take the corner for Parker earlier in his career. He started to develop a little more punch variety and boxing skill... unfortunately he was also a little more shopworn.

Atlas likes the sound of his own voice.

This AJ hasn't got the confidence to try and damage Joyce.

I am sure they have sparred hundreds of rounds on team GB and that AJ was seen as objectively better.

Different in the professional game and an AJ with a bruised ego. Joyce would beat the absolute s.hit out of AJ you feel. AJ would have to quit or be pulled out.

Joshua would fight anyone, it's Eddie Hearn who is the problem when it comes to making these fights.

Looks like Joshua visited all the US trainers but one.

Joshua will get battered by Joe Joyce, no way Hearn goes near him.
