First the guy didn’t want to fight because it would interfere with his wedding. Now he doesn’t want to fight because he doesn’t like the 65/35 split. Ramirez isn’t interesting or entertaining enough as a fighter to be this much of a diva.

It makes Ramirez look afraid to fight Regis even though I don’t believe he is."
You fail to understand that Ramirez is bringing in most of the $$$. he's been a champ before & in the spotlight longer.... 75/25% is pathetic * 65/35% is still off... Ramirez said he'd do 60/40% .... would u agree that Crawford should get 65/35% for a spence fight? yea me either, even though Crawford brings NOTHING to the table... so was Crawford afraid?
and Regis is not a boogeyman, beating a slow, confused & awkward Zepeda is not impressive who Ramirez already beat...

“If Ramirez tried and wanted it, why not call our side? You simple [sic] pivoted to an easier fight, there is no need for 1000 reasons/excuses. Simply you passed up a title opportunity. Facts.”
These are the facts. If Ramirez really wanted to try to negotiate different terms then it's on his side to negotiate as Prograis was obviously happy to do with the WBC split.
It doesn't look like Ramirez wants that work.
WBC should remove Ramirez from their top ten for at least 12 months. Same with Lopez if he doesn't move forward with a mandated title fight.

I find it difficult to sympathize with Ramirez. He had an opportunity to fight Zepeda for the title, but passed on it because he was getting married. Prograis stepped up, won the fight and now has some leverage. Ramirez now has to deal with the consequence of his choices. Was he complaining about the unfairness of sanctioning body splits when HE was the WBC champion? He's been the beneficiary of calculated career moves (i.e. not entering the WBSS), and avoiding Prograis is simply another one of those moves. Prograis just needs to stay active.H.B.Viper

But I wish every boxer even did 1/10 of what he has done outside the ring. Admirable.
